Bajram Dođe Mirišu Avlije

Bajram dođe mirišu avlije
Behar pada s grane šeftelije
Ptica,insan svako se raduje
A ja nemam s kim da bajramujem

[ Dženetlije putuju
Svom se dostu raduju
U bajramskom odjelu
U dženetskom veselju ]

Sa vratnica džamijskog harema
Džemat ide ahmedije nema
Preslagana uoci bajrama
I mošusom divnim mirisana

Koga jutros docekat veselo
Uz ruku mu pritisnuti celo
Pusta kuca srce se stužilo
Opustilo što se zelenilo

Eid is here, Yards are Savoring

Eid is here, Yards are Savoring
Time Lapse from the tree of apricot
Bird, peoples.. everyone is celebrating
And I don't have no one to celebrate Eid with..

(People in Heaven are traveling
They are welcoming dear guest
in the Eid clothes
in the Heaven's mood)

From the door of the Heaven yard
People are coming, without *Ahmedija'
It's rearranged in the name of Eid
And Savoring on the dear Musk

Who to welcome this morning with smile ?
Whose hand to press on forehead ?
Empty house, heart is sad
Those what once was green has become desert (havoc)

Author's comments:

*Ahmedija - The term Ahmedija refers to a thin canvas worn by the Islamic religious leaders and dignitaries around the cap (fesa).
On the time of the Eid it is tradition for them to rearrange it.
