There is No Bad Weather in Nature

Versions: #1#2
There's no bad weather in nature!
Every type of weather is abundant.
Rain or snow... any time of the year,
You should accept it gratefully

The echoes of heartfelt bad weather
Stamp loneliness into one's heart,
And the pitiful sprouts of insomnia --
You should accept it gratefully

The death of (your) wishes, the years and hardships --
Every day, it's more than you can bear,
That which nature has designated for you
You should accept it gratefully

The change of seasons, the sunsets and sunrises,
And the grace of (your) last love
As your own days1 depart,
You should accept it gratefully

There's no bad weather in nature
You can't stop passing2 time
The autumn of (your) life, like the autumn of the year
You should, without grieving, be grateful

  • 1. "dates"
  • 2. "speeding" is more accurate, I think? maybe then "time speeding by"

Осень жизни---> Autumn of the life
Смерть желаний---> death of [your] wishes
любви последней благодать-- Благодать последней любви--> The grace of the last/ultimate love

Man, I'm failing at the genitive case / "OF" ...ugh :\

You should be grateful sound good, but more accurate translation will be
You should accept/admit with gratitude

Ahh... yes, it does have a different tone to it.

"You should accept (it) gratefully" -- would this still work? I know the grammar would be different, and it's probably just my style of wording, but I don't like the way "accept with gratitude" sounds in English. Teeth smile

You should accept (it) gratefully sounds good for me.

"как и дату своего ухода," as the date of your death...

Well my Russian is not even near fluent, but still I can't agree with this translation. I might be wrong just as well, but I rather understand the lyrics as:

There's no bad weather in Nature
You should be thankful for any kind of weather,
be it rainy or snowy, any season
should be accepted with gratitude.

You should accept with gratitude
the echoes of bad weather in your soul,
the mark of loneliness in your heart
and the gruelling sprouts of insomnia

Death of desire, years and hardships,
the burden grows heavier by the day.
What Nature has decided for you
should be accepted with gratitude.

You should be grateful for the passing years,
the dawns and sunsets, and the last love,
Even the date of your departure (from this Earth)
you should accept with gratitude.

There's no bad weather in Nature,
you shant't stop the course of time.
The fall of your life, like the fall of the year
should be met with gratitude rather than grief.
