Boza Boza (English translation)

English translation

Breaking Me

Your heart is solemn, even with me
It cannot trust, deeply
I threw to the winds, I forgot but
All of my soul has your fingerprints on it

Which part of it is sadness, which part is joy
And how much of these feelings belongs to me
Mostly all we have is borrowed

Somebody love me, I'm good at being loved
And it would be good if it's until the next summer
You can say 'dude, what's this?'
She may come, if she's going to come, breaking me

May she love big, I'm good at being loved
And it would be good if it's until the next summer
You can say 'dude, what is this?'
She may come, if she's going to come, breaking me

Author's comments:

sizli bizli: we sometimes use plural form instead of singular, as a sign of respect
ben (me) becomes biz (we) and sen (you singular) becomes siz (you, plural) in this speech, and this is formal, away from being sincere. he says youre talking to even me like 'siz biz' , you cannot trust me to go more sincere and informal

Turkish

Çevirini çok beğendim, sadece “boş verdım” = I didn‘t care şöyle söylerdim
Tekrardan çok teşekkürler

I can edit my translation if you think its not natural, I used dictionary for some words, I didnt care would make the meaning a little bit narrow I thought, so I looked it up in a dictionary and use what I found. So I'm not really familiar with this phrase either Confused smile

You don‘t have to edit, your translation is perfect. It was just my suggestion but both are right. I am not native turk but I always hear „boş verdim” in a “whatever - I don‘t care - forget it“ context.
The song is so cool and really difficult to translate into English....
Thanks again, cristina
