Noia de porcellana (English translation)

English translation

Porcelain Girl

Porcelain girl
I tried to find a soul within you
And that was like trying to find
White butterflies on white snow.
Porcelain girl
Your insides are full of wind;
A May breeze
With rose petals, gives an innocent air.
Porcelain girl
Your entire body is a recipient
Ready to be filled with water
So I can place a lily in it, when the good weather arrives.
Porcelain girl,
I tried to find aplomb in your words
And that was like trying to find
Blue butterflies on the blue sea.
Porcelain girl,
By just looking at you, someone broke your arm;
You looked all indignant
Like a saint without devotees.
Porcelain girl
You're so fragile, that you've broken
(By standing) under a bell
That rings sweetly and is made of crystal.
Porcelain girl
I tried to find light on your skin
And that was like trying to find
Butterflies made out of air, where the wind blows.
Porcelain girl
Your glance is truly transparent,
Your skin is like cellophane
And your flesh is both translucent and repulsive.
Porcelain girl
How can you expect something, when you don't give anything?
You're cold and inhuman
And you only think between seven and five.

Good work Thumbs up  A suggestion:
4:2 - Just looking at you [caused your arm to break / broke your arm]

Thanks - it did sound rather awkward as it was before. I think that forgetting the Y in "they" made it look even stranger, Teeth smile

Anyway, while I greatly appreciate your suggestion, I think that "someone broke your arm by just looking at you" wounds a bit more natural.

I really appreciate your kind suggestions anyway, so thank you! Regular smile

Have a wonderful evening!
