Immer Nur (English translation)

Immer Nur

Ich seh uns noch im Regen stehen
ein letzter Kuss,ein letzter Blick
Keine Antwort auf die Frage
gibt es ein Zurück
warum kann ich nicht mehr frei sein
mach einfach weiter, wie bisher
schliess die Augen,ich vermiss dich,
fühl mich so unendlich leer
Ich denke immer nur
bis ans Ende meiner Tage
immer nur
bist du die Antwort meiner Frage
immer nur
bis ans Ende meiner Tage
denk ich immer nur an dich
Die Erde dreht sich immer weiter
doch die Zeit bleibt für mich stehen
so viel ungestellte Fragen
welchen Weg soll ich jetzt gehen
gib mir ein Zeichen deiner Sehnsucht
nur einen kleinen Teil von dir
führ mich ans Licht in jeder Stunde
und nimm die Dunkelheit von mir

English translation

Always of you

I still see us standing in the rain.
A last kiss, a last glance.
No answer to the question:
will you ever come back?
Why can't I be free anymore
and go forward like before?
I close my eyes and miss you,
I feel so utterly empty.
I'll always think only of you
till the end of my days.
You'll always be
the answer to my question.
till the end of my days
I'll think only of you.
The Earth keeps spinning
yet time stays frozen for me.
So many unasked questions,
which way should I go now?
Give me a token of your yearning,
just a little piece of you.
Lead me to light in my every hour
and dispel the darkness in me.

I agree it is a nice song! And funny enough, I had gotten the same English translation as you had gotten but my English translation sentices did not sound as fluid as tour's do.

You are welcome but I should have said your's instead of "tour's" ha ha

Pardon my commenting on a mistake so often made. It's about the apostrophe.
People use LETS when they mean LET'S (i.e. Let us) - IT'S when in the context the correct use is ITS
CAUSE when in the context it should be 'cause.
Here you use YOUR'S which of course should be YOURS.
It is a minor point but we shouldn't perpetuate the incorrect use of this punctuation mark. :-)
