P.r2b - Ocean Forever (English translation)

English translation

Ocean forever

There was the ocean
and the surfers on the beach
like the breath of a teenager
swept away in a shipwreck.

Like the impossible journey
of a romantic explorer
set free in docile waters
with [a] longing for pacific

Like the eyes of the swimmers
as the sun goe away.

I no longer want to live in Paris
It's cold and grey here.
There hope has dried up
and we cry laughing

I remember your laughter
as night fell upon us.
They watched death suffer
and then flee to a remote place

like heroes

forgotten away from radars
untraceable in the cosmos
I was drowning in the lighthouses
of a daydream you don't come back from

I no longer want to live in Paris
It's cold and grey here.
There hope has dried up
and we cry laughing

Like children, like children
who don't want [him]1 to be flung
on the sidewalk
and the gestures to be the bastards2
Let's grab the cash and be out of here fast.
L'est flee those people chasing
the rosy suffering of the heart3
Let's love each other, so much the better.
Let's flle the black prose of the cities
Let's forget all this and thus
let's experience the rapture and idyll
of this who don't like laws.

There will always be people
to block our way,
but in the doors the wind of being wise
will resound4

Like a 2003 winter
Like a VHS memory
Like an awkward glance
Like beauty without the rest

  • 1. it sounds like the childrend don't want some other individual to be flung on the sidewalk. It should be "les" instead of "le" to mean the children themselves don't want to be flung on the sidewalk
  • 2. that makes no sense whatsoever to me
  • 3. whatever that is supposed to mean
  • 4. Another piece of gibberish
