The Soul Howling

oh soul , as thou hurt art'
The unseen howl
Gathering among that night
Thy vigore , of yarn ,
Nor' a las'seen it was

The one rose
That once found upon thy soul
Has reached further realms
In far'ways ,
Alike lands of joy
Shall thy scent settle
And so , at a las' rejoice
A blossom it'll rose
Doth not fade
Nor doth share it's parfume
But awaits for thy one destined to be

L'âme en peine

Oh mon âme, tant est dolente
qui se lamente dans la nuit
d'un cri à nul autre pareil.
Las, ta force n'est plus celle
qu'on lui voyait jadis.

La seule rose
qui trouvait demeure en ton âme
s'en est allée vers d'autre contrées.
Ta douce odeur sans doute
ira trouver gîte
en un pays joyeux.
Ainsi de refleurir
tu m'offriras
une dernière joie.
Quoique ne sentant pas
ce doux parfum
j'attendrai que le destin nous réunisse.

I did my best to give the French an old-ish feel.
